We're building POS integration for ChefYield. Connect your POS read-only and every closed sale deducts its ingredients from inventory automatically, using the same yield-adjusted quantities that cost the plate. It will be part of the Elite + POS plan.
POS integration is not live yet and Elite + POS is not available to buy. Join the waitlist below and we'll tell you when it opens.
How it will work
- Connect your POS, read-only. You authorize ChefYield from your POS account. ChefYield never writes to your POS and never touches payments.
- Import your menu. ChefYield pulls in your POS menu so you can map each item to a ChefYield recipe once.
- Sales deduct ingredients. Every closed sale takes its ingredients out of inventory, using yield-adjusted quantities for trim and shrinkage.
- Refunds and voids are handled. A refunded or voided sale doesn't count against your stock.
- Nothing slips through. Items that aren't mapped to a recipe yet go to a review queue instead of being skipped silently.
- Find the leaks. Do a stock count and the variance report shows the gap between what sold and what's on the shelf, so waste and theft show up.
- Stays current. Sync catches up every 15 minutes.

Which POS systems will work with ChefYield?
We're building for Square and Clover first; both are built and in testing. Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series), Shift4 SkyTab, SpotOn, Heartland and TouchBistro are planned. None are live yet. Using a different POS? Tell us in the waitlist form.
Will it change anything in my POS?
No. ChefYield only reads from your POS. It never writes to your POS, never changes your menu or orders, and never touches payments.
Do I need Elite + POS for this?
Yes. POS integration is only on Elite + POS. Free, Pro and Elite don't connect to a POS.
What happens to menu items I haven't mapped?
Their sales go to a review queue so you can map them to a recipe. Nothing is skipped silently.
