Security & your data

Your recipes and costs are your business. Here is, plainly, how ChefYield handles them.

Encrypted in transit

The app and this website talk to our servers only over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Where your data lives

• Railway hosts the ChefYield app's server (backend).
• MongoDB Atlas stores the app's database, including your account, kitchen data and photos, on access-controlled servers.
• Cloudflare serves this website.
• Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text.

You own your recipes

Your recipes, prices, invoices and menu data belong to you. We use them to run ChefYield for you. We never sell your data.

Export or delete anytime

Email [email protected] to get an export of your account data. You can delete your account inside the app at Profile → Delete account, or follow the steps on our delete account page. Deleted accounts are permanently erased after 30 days.

Payments

ChefYield never sees your card. Subscriptions are paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
